Forms of Racism

There are many forms of racism, because race is not just about skintone. Race is the notion that a society can be subdivided into definate categories based on descent. Racism is the ideology that one or more of these categories are better than others. Persecution based on skin tone, gender, cultural beliefs, physical abilities, economic class and other characteristics associated with descent are all forms of racism. When clicked with your mouse, each stone in this exhibit opens into a story about a different form of racism.
